Using Public Computers at Braswell
The Library offers free use of a number of computers for both children and adults for Internet access, research, word processing and other applications, entertainment, and education. Library cards are generally required to use the computers but visitors to the area are welcome to use them after showing identification.
All computer users must abide by our Computer Policies.

Professional Resumes
Offered Mondays from 4:00 – 5:00
Course description – Learn the basics of a professional resume, the information and the format needed. Begin to create a professional document. You will need some MS Words skills and a disk to save any work completed.

Course description – Use your Yahoo account effectively. Learn to forward, reply, reply all, and add attachments to your emails.
Basic Computers and Internet
Offered Wednesday from 11:00 – 12:00
Course description – Mouse functions, elementary key boarding, explanation of the concept of the internet, basic function button on the Internet screen, and a successful search on the internet using Google
More Internet Use
Offered Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:00
Course description – Learn the difference between an internet address and a search. Complete an advanced search for information. Explore a website to locate specific information on that site. Questions and Answers as time permits.
Word Processing
Offered Thursday from 4:00 – 5:00
Course description – Create new or open existing document, choose font and text size, use Spell and Grammar Check, bold, Italicize or Underline text, and align right, left or center
