Library Mission & Vision Statements

MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of Braswell Memorial Public Library and its staff is to cultivate learning, provide access to information, and foster partnerships with input from its community.

VISION STATEMENT: The vision of Braswell Memorial Public Library is to enrich its community through innovative services and resources by promoting the academic, educational, and cultural growth of all people in Nash, Edgecombe, and neighboring counties of eastern North Carolina.

Braswell Memorial Library. We are already good. . . But for us, good isn’t good enough! We aim to be even better. Our desire is to be equal to the best library in any major urban area of the state. To put it bluntly, we want to be the very best! And towards that goal, Braswell is embarking upon an exciting endeavor that will position us in an elite league nationwide.
