THE FRIENDS OF BRASWELL MEMORIAL PUBLIC LIBRARY
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
THE FRIENDS OF BRASWELL MEMORIAL PUBLIC LIBRARY is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists solely to support the goals and activities of Braswell Memorial Public Library. The Friends raise monies to promote, encourage, and improve library services. Although we contribute to numerous projects, the Summer Reading Program, the FooteP.R.I.N.T. Homework Center, and the Kid’s College Homework Center remain our top priority.
A Letter from the President:
Join the FRIENDS OF BRASWELL MEMORIAL Public Library (FBMPL) to help us continue our quest towards “ A Library of Distinction.
The FBMPL raise monies to help improve the library services through contributions to the Summer Reading Program, Foote P.R.I.N.T. Homework Center, Kids’ Homework Center, Reach Out Rocky Mount’s Fun Run for Charities, and Children’s and Adult Programs.
Our money-raising projects are the Annual Membership Drive and Champagne & Chocolates.
Copies of our book, Flooded: Reflections of Hurricane Floyd, are available for purchase at the library. This book is a collection of stories featuring heroic acts by area citizens during the big flood of 1999.
Remember -- through your participating and giving our quest can be fully realized.
